I had excess fluid, but eventually it went to *more normal levels...
still probably excessive, but since she was so small, I still measured
small for 8-9 months. Having the levels go down, even a bit, made me
feel like she was sucking and swallowing.
Babies suck the fluid, swallow it and expell it and suck it in
again... kinda icky thought, but that is why it stays level, if fluids
get too much, it could be a sign they are expelling okay, but not
sucking and swallowing well.
Hope it levels off, but as someone said, excessive fluid is typical
for T18 babies and since they are small, it may seem like they float
right out when your water breaks. My water didn't break until after
Claire was delivered.
My thoughts.
