I am shocked that this drug is still available. It is the first med Ali ever
took and she was only four years old. By the time she was seven, her liver
enzymes had gone up so her pediatrician said, "I don't care what the
neurologist
said about it, no more for Ali." About three or four years later, I heard it
was no longer being prescribed for ADHD and just assumed it was going off the
market. That was at least 12 years ago. They knew how bad it was then. Makes me
think that those folks that think the mercury/autism link has been covered up
by the drug companies for profit reasons might just be right.
