Now come ON Karen!!!!!!!!! LOL
I think the reason Karen included that bit about me is because we were told
that Alex's mosaicism was the result of:
A) An accident occurring after conception in which there is an abnormal cell
line (trisomy) and the body trying to correct itself and creates a normal
cell line. Voila--mosaic!
B) An accident occurring after conception in which there is a normal cell
line and a "mistake" happens creating another cell line that is abnormal
(trisomy). Voila--mosaic again!
And I hated them referring to Alex as an "accident", which one geneticist
did! He was planned, wanted and loved.
Michelle mom to Alex (14,partial trisomy 14 mosaic) and Molly (11)
