We did not notice them before she was one, but my feeling is she
probably did have them.  If I recall it was a nurse friend of mine who
pointed out some behaviours that she felt might be seizures, even the
pead was not convinced but when she had a EEG it confirmed it.  Mostly
her seizures were of the absence sort, ie she would kind of zone out or
her eyes would do a rapid movement to one side for a few seconds, she
has rarely had seizures of the tonic clonic sort ( were there is
generalized jerking) the one major time I remember is the day many years
back that the home care co ordinator came out and  tried to cut us off
totally, Rebecca had 3 tonic clonic seizures in front of the women and
saved our home care!
