I agree - and really all list folk can do is share their own experiences.
I know a number of other folks are reticent to respond when others ask 
specifically for T-13 families to answer. But truthfully there are more 
similarities between the trisomies than there are differences.
There is quite a lot of helpful information thats been directly related to 
the most frequent issues in the book "Living with Trisomy 13 and 18" and if 
you havent obtained a copy I strongly suggest that you do - even if its just 
to give to the staff at the hospital. If you live in the US the price is 
very reasonable - about $11. There is also a specific Trisomy 13 book - 
"Trisomy 13 - a Guidebook for families"

Its when you have to get them posted internationally that the cost goes sky 
high. I have a few copies here for Australian families - along with the 
Living with T-18 book, Why my Baby? etc etc.
