I am so sorry - I sure hope that Marissa is well again and that you managed
to get done what needed to be done so that you aren't so stressed...........

Alex has the flu shot every year as well. There is no way that he would he
survive a full onslaught of the flu. Typically I don't usually bother for
myself but after this year I will - I managed to get the flu and every other
virus going around and was too ill to really care for Alex properly. Alex of
course got none of them!!!

But you guys are a year ahead with the flu vaccine - the one that you get
this year is the one that we will get next. So I can't help with what was in
it to cause such a reaction. Alex has never had a reaction to any vaccine
other than the pertussis (whooping cough) but was fine with the acellular
pertussis.

Has anyone elses child had a reaction to the flu vax this year? Could
Marissa have been unlucky enough to have been coming down with something
else that just coincided to the vaccine??
