Unfortunately there can be lots of reasons for this type of behaviour
Cheryl. Can you pin point a particular trigger, situation or even time that
he does this?
Alex used to pick his fingers till they bleed, and also his lips. It used to
drive me insane!!!! and the bleeding mess he would leave them made it look
like he was abused or neglected.
It turned out that the primary factors including
A very poor awareness of pain and Sensory Integration Issues.
Just be careful that if you try and extinguish the behaviour somethin even
worse may replace it............
