Katharine,
Thankyou sooo much for taking the time to send us an update and I am soooooooo
glad that the eye surgery went well. My prayers now
that it remains successful and that both you and Avery recover quickly!!

I am so sorry to hear this. I dont have any personal experience with
hydrocephalus as a disorder I'm afraid. Hopefully it will be
able to be treated easily. My fingers are definitely crossed for the MRI!!

I know exactly how you feel regarding this. I cant say that it gets any better
from where I stand, but at least it slows down some.
I can't imagine living through those first 2 or 3 years again.......... It got
so I dreaded going to another appointment because you
could guarantee that even if you went to have a toenail cut it would turn into
some great problem!!!!

Way to go Avery - that is fantastic news!!!!!!

Hydro signs can be quite subtle (which is good) and if picked up and treated
early (if treatment is needed) you may never see major
issues directly related to the hydro. Early detection is why doctors and clinic
sisters always measure a baby's head. If their head
grows too fast for the rest of their body the doctor will always check for
hydro as a possible cause...

Hag in there sweet - sending you lots of hugs as you adjust to and cope with
all this.

Children are a great comfort in your old age -- and they can help you reach it
faster, too!
