Alex was full term (via ultrasound and dates) but weighed 4 lb and 12 oz. At
3 months he was somewhere between 5 and 6 lb.
He didn't hit 10 lb until almost 9 months of age.
We also didn't begin his immunization regime until he reached 10 lb, the
standard weight for 'typical' infants to begin.
Hi again everyone :o)
I was at work when I responded to your email...I'm not an email answerer by
trade, I'm a press operator at a print shop...so technically I'm not
supposed to be checking my email {{{{sheepish grin}}}}. Anyhoooo...Devon
weighed 6 lbs 8 oz at birth and was 19" long. Not huge...but actually 2 lbs
lighter and 2" shorter then our first son. Because of his cleft/feeding
difficulties he weighed 12 pounds when he had his cleft repaired at 9 months
(Heck our older son weighed 12 pounds at 1 month old!!!). 3 months later
when he reached 1 year old he weighed 15 pounds. One year later, at 2yrs, he
weighed 25 pounds and at 3 yrs, he weighed 35 pounds. He slowed down after
that but now at a month and a half away from 12 yrs...he weighs somewhere
between 87 and 90 lbs. He's not obese by any means...but the boy has a soft
middle and he has a round moon face complete with my cheeks and his PopPop's
chins :o) Poor kid doesn't stand a chance with our gene pool :o)
Now Wendi mentioned in her email that the Polycose only adds 23 calories per
tablespoon I think? That's pretty much the same as the Thick It...so I don't
consider that too many calories...I was just worried that it had gobs of
calories if it was used to help a child gain weight.
So, if the offers still stand...thanks to Tiffiney and Wendi who have
offered us their Polycose that they no longer need...I now have Tiffiney's
email address and I already have Wendi's...so I'll email you my address off
list and you both will have to let me know how much you need for shipping.
:o)
