Annette Jr. and I just spent five luxurious days at the Texas Children's
Hospital resort. We had a suite on the 14th floor - pulmonary - where the
nurses have never seen a trach and the rt's don't know how to operate our vent.
We had the thrilling experience of watching a doctor, hands shaking, place a
trach in a beautiful little baby. Unfortunately, it was my baby! : ) Hahaha!
My nena is okay now. She had a trach infection and had to change her trach.
She has grown so much, that it was too small.
