[tri-med] Re: tonsils & adenoids - Chris

Hey Chris,

We had Genevieve into the cardiologist June 9th, as
she had the 2nd sleep done 2 weeks later, but there is
a murmur, they did an echo dopplar and another test,
but he said the murmur is there, nothing fatal he
believes. He said we could see him on as needed basis
if we thought there was more of a problem.

Second sleep study after T&A in May, showed
significant difference in sleeping and getting oxygen.


After surgery on her teeth a couple weeks ago,
everyone heard this murmur clear as a bell and they
let me hear it too, so I'm like "is it worse?", "can a
murmur get worse?", "is the stress from surgery
causing it to be heard more?" LOL Just the normal
paranoid questions that fester on me at times....

So is Mari being considered for T&A surgery as well
Chris? That is the one thing though I hate about sleep
studies, they aren't done in a normal setting, they
had Genevieve wrapped like a mummy, arm boards, etc...
who is gonna sleep 'normal' per say?

p.s. On a happy note, Genevieve still was waking 3-4
times a night, tossing and turning, ENT said perhaps
she got into a `pattern`, but since teeth gone, she
only wakes once -maybe- most nights sleeping throught
the night, we had surgery followup yesterday in Indy
and they think now she was having so much 'mouth pain'
from bad teeth and taking them out, Nada, zip... now
to get her eating/drinking back to normal : )
