I took Morgan to see the surgeon who put his button in on Wednesday. He =
was
baffled by the granulation tissue and ordered a culture be taken down =
inside
the stoma. We got partial results back on Fri. The culture is =
definitely
growing something unusual, they just aren't sure what it is. The sample =
was
sent out so the "bug" can be identified and then they can prescribe the
proper antibiotic. The dr. feels that this is the cause of the =
granulation
tissue continually building up.
