I took Morgan to see the surgeon who put his button in on Wednesday. He was
baffled by the granulation tissue and ordered a culture be taken down inside
the stoma. We got partial results back on Fri. The culture is definitely
growing something unusual, they just aren't sure what it is. The sample was
sent out so the "bug" can be identified and then they can prescribe the proper
antibiotic. The dr. feels that this is the cause of the granulation tissue
continually building up.
