[tri-med] thanks

Hi Thanks for all who replied to our post re: fundo/feeding tube questions.
We are meeting with the surgeon on Monday and hope to go there with a lot of
questions.
Thanks again

meds...it helped a little. When he had the upper GI test, it showed a
malrotated bowel. So, they decided to do surgery right away for the
malrotated bowel and also did the fundo at the same time. Since it was a
more involved surgery, Nick had an epidural for 3 days. He was very
comfortable. Then we went on the hernia roller coaster! The surgery
weakened his abdominal area and he had 4 hernia surgeries. We finally took
him to St. Louis Children's and they put an Alloderm patch in (natural patch
not synthetic). So far, so good. The g-tube was the best thing we did. If
he's sick or falls asleep before supper, I just give it to him by tube!
