I don't remember seeing this before........a diaper rash????

Alex's eczema has hit an all time high in regard to persistence and severity
in the past 5 or so months. Both hands nearly covered 100% with angry red,
raised, crusted, open spots that bled and flaking like crazy.

I finally took him to a dermatologist and he had a biopsy done on his hands
as well as receiving 2 new prescriptions (one an ointment and the other a
cream).

Alex presented with maybe an 80% improvement in 4 weeks.
So them he was given a shot of steroids and placed on an oral regime as
well.

Another 4 weeks later and some improvement again but it's not GONE.

So Alex receives another shot and is then prescribed for 'light therapy'
(can't for the life of me remember the letters for it....something like UVS
or UVA??????).

After 4 treatments his hands are now looking 97% healed. He goes for another
treatment Mon and we see the dermatologist again on Wed.

By the way, Alex's hands were bad BEFORE he began working in the restaurant.
