[tri-med] Re: support groups

Hi. I joined a support group of sorts about 2 years ago when Luke was 1 1/2.
He also has a rare chromosome disorder and there are no t-14 kiddos in our
area. I went to the group that was affiliated with our Early Start program.
What I found is that although each child was unique, we all share so many of
the same issues as far as therapies, education, financial, even
developmental. Sure, if there was a group for t-14 children, I would go in a
heartbeat, but the group I did attend has been very helpful.
