When I pulled the skin back it was really in there! Its kind of like it
never popped out but its still back there but not visible. So, I'm just
wondering if anyone else with a boy has had this problem? And if so is it
correctable?
Jacob has always had a very small penis on top of what the doctors said was
a 'fat pad' that pushed the skin up around it. After his VSD repair had had
his chest tube scare (which looks like a small belly button), his belly
button and then the chubby spot where his penis should be, so when he was a
little guy it looked like he had three belly buttons! We did have Jake
circumcised, which led to some problems since it does stay inside most of
the time, the skin adhered a few times, once requiring surgery. I took Jake
to the urologist to find out what the deal was and what could be done, he
dxed him with micro-penis and we got him three very low doses of
testosterone (through his endocrinologist) to correct it. The results were
great, he had growth by a third and it put him into normal range for a boy
his age, still on the small side, but normal.
I don't know if this answered your question, if I can help any more I would
be happy to.
