Mari did the same thing. It wasn't until she was about a year old that she
was more consistent in her smiling. I'm sure there were people who were
saying...'sure she smiles.' I'd bet your little peanut is just not feeling
like smiling with all she's had going on!

>She does also have trouble making eye contact, but does look at us and
things such as a mobile, just not for long periods of time.
Mari does this as well. Usually when I'm bragging on how bright she
is....she just won't respond at all. If she's the least bit tired, she
seems to look past us.

>I just pray that she will finally recover from her many many health
problems and go on to be such a happy baby. It is really hard dealing >with
all the ongoing medical issues. All I ask is for a baby who will finally
act like she knows and loves us!!!!! I don't even care anymore >about the
physical and mental delays at all!!!
AMEN to that Irene! I pray that she gets through all this as well. She has
got to know how much you love her! I am so thankful (as I know you are too
for Caroline) that Miss Mari is still with us. We want our kids to have the
best they can!
