Thanks for sharing this, Barb.  I can't imagine ever growing tired of
watching this incredible video.  What a beautiful smile on his face when =
he
is in front of his laptop!!

I learned about the Hoyt's when a dear friend on mine who does these =
ironman
challenges met them at a race and then shared them in his blog.  I was =
moved
then and I am moved again now.  Just too powerful.

If only everyone in the world saw their children and appreciated them =
for
who they were, as we do... to borrow a phrase, I can only imagine.

Special kids have special parents and I thought of all of you when my
daughter sent me this video.

The son has severe cerebral palsy and the drs told the parents to
institutionalize him, but they accepted and loved him just the way he =
was.=20

After many years, they realized that he had a perfect brain inside a =
totally
broken body and he ultimately completed a College degree.

The dad does ironmen competitions at the age of 60+ with his son in tow =
and
they also do inspirational speeches.
=20
My 23 year old daughter sent the video to me and she said that she went
through a whole box of tissues watching it. I think she was especially
effected because she was denied the chance to love her sister in the way
that this dad loves his son; completely and unselfishly.
