The doctor prescribed phenobarb and when I gave Alex the first dose the
child I knew and loved left the house. In his place I got this mean, nasty,
horrid, bad tempered, irritable, grizzly, zonked out zombie. Almost
overnight he regressed developmentally by about 18 months. Couldn't wait to
get the master I knew and loved back home.......... I hate to think what he
would have been like if we had ever gotten up to a therapeutic dose - no
more phenobarb for this kiddo.
