[tri-med] sacral fibrolipoma

ok they found a small one(1.4mm) when they did kam's spinal mri.  has anyone 
heard fo this or know what the deal is?  we are being referred to 
nuerosurgery as her ped said they always want to remove them.  it sounds 
like a beign tumor but i cant figure out what it affects.  it says it goes 
from l3-4 down to the sacral region...???
