Betty, I'm just learning about reflux but I did find out that there is
"silent reflux" where the stomach contents only rise in the esophagus and do
not come out. This can also damage the esophagus. I also know that there
is a range of Rantidine that can be given. My pharmisit friend looked it up
and said that it is 2
to 10 MG per kilogram of weight per day. So Michelle is 4.54 kilograms.
She can have 9 to 45 MG per day. Or 3 to 15 MG 3 times a day. Her
Ranitidine is 15 MG/1ML so that is .2 ML to 1 ML per dose. She is at .7 ML
per dose. (I hope I did that math right....lack of sleep) Kristy said that
it is extremely rare that Rantidine causes hepatitis but it can happen if
doses are too large.

Hope this helps.
