(katie beckett medicaid waiver?  we just heard that kam is number 89 on the
waiting list after over 3 years.  this is the one that is NOT income
dependant.  we make too much for ssi or anything like that.)
We don't even have the Katie Beckett waiver in Illinois.  We have DSCC, which 
goes by income, so us lucky Illinoisans get nothing.  And forget SSI - not 
until he is 18 years old.  I was just at a meeting with UCP/Easter Seals and 
the girl said Illinois is 47th in the country for helping special needs 
children and we are the 4th richest state....somebody's spending the matching 
federal $$$ somewhere!  I know our state is always saying they're under 
financial crisis.
