We are so lucky here in Aus that tea tree is an Aussie brew and the pure
kind is in plentiful supply. You pay, but its definitely better. If you are
mixing tea tree with water though you need to make sure you get a miscible
type. Really pure tea tree oil is not water miscible.

I use tea tree in Alex's bath everynight, actually I use a 50/50 blend of
tea tree and lavender oil. As you said its a natural antiseptic for the
everyday bumps and scrapes, it really helps keep the granulation tissue
around his g-tube under control and a few drops of tea tree oil in the water
you use to rinse hair means that the person will never, ever be affected by
hair lice outbreaks. If you want to prevent head lice but not use when
washing your hair try mixing up a weakish solution of tea tree oil wnad
water in a mister bottle and use that to dampen the hair when you are
brushing your hair. Those little beggars really hate tea tree oil.

I remember back in the early days of the list when tea tree wasn't all that
popular (not like today) and I would send bottles of tea tree oil to people
and they would tell me it smelt like kerosene........... :-)

Love many, hate few, learn to paddle your own canoe.
