Poor Kam - really sounds like you have to do something about her knees.
I havent heard of this but thought I would mention that I have been taking
glucosamine for my joints (as you know I have bad arthritis) and its
brilliant stuff. My knees arent near as bad as Kams, but my knee cap is
always slightly out of alignment and it causes me much pain all the time,
even more when I manage to slip it out even further.

Since I have been taking the glucosamine I have had virtually no pain, no
"creaking" of bone grinding on bone when I walk and it hasnt slipped out.

I know its meant to help the whole joint but seems to have helped strengthen
the ligaments as well. My rheumatologist suggested it and certainly all the
studies show that it works. Its a natural substance with virtually no side
effects and might be worth giving Kam a trial on it to see if it would help?
You dont get improvement overnight, but within 6 weeks I was able to halve
my pain killers and it really seems to have arrested the dislocation that
was happening in my thumbs. If I forget to take it or run out I soon know
about it!!
