I'd take this to family, but I'm not sure Corinne's on that list!
It's on, so I don't get more then maybe 1 'normal' spam e-mail to that
account in 3-4 months time. But...
It's my own system who's sending me these e-mails. The spammers are filling
in my submit form on my own website, which automatically then generates an
e-mail from my system to my account at that server, which is then set to fwd
to my mindspring. I COULD cancel out the fwd part, but then I'd have to
remember to occasionally go into the other mailbox and deal with 100's at a
time instead of just the 11 I've had since 1:42 this morning.
I'd have to block myself to stop these, and that would block the legitimate
submissions too. The only place their e-mail addy is even involved in this
process is in one of the submission fields within the e-mail. Most are
Yahoo & Hotmail, but there are a smattering of other servers. But none of
them are probably even real, as what they are REALLY trying to do is get me
to click on the links they're submitting.
I mean, I seriously doubt that anyone truly believes I'd actually add a link
to an 'incest' or 'gay porn' website. I wouldn't even know which trisomy to
list them under, because they ALWAYS leave that field blank. <wee pained
grin>. This is truly evil ingeniousness, I've got to give 'em that.
