Actually going from hypo to hyper or vice versa is quite common, especially
in neuro things such as tone.

Alex is still hypersensitive in his mouth, always has been. The best
indication was his gag reflex - it was always extremely high (elicited on
the first third of his tongue). But he went from hypertonic to hypotonic in
his limbs. Its one reason why when you are doing therapy for neuro
conditions, even sensory integration disorder you need to be very careful,
its very easy to go to far the other way.

Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.
