Last night on the ABC "New Inventors", they had a second airing of a
previous winner, who had invented a swing for disabled kids which
could take the whole wheelchair, kid and all. Also kids who could get
out of the wheelchair, were able to sit in the swing. They did the
airing for the second time, to say several councils have installed
them all over Australia, but also said they had sold two to the USA.
They say the web link too fast for me to write it down, but if you
try going to abc.com.au/newinventors, you may be able to get a look
at it. Thankfully Tess still fits in the toddler swing, you know the
one like a bucket seat with a chain in front.
