Michael was the opposite. He did not like to feel anything but "grounded". Birgitta on the other hand is all about the motion. I remember when the PT was trying to get her to crawl up the stairs and to be aware of the space around her (in other words not climb one step and go to sit down backwards). The PT decided to allow her to fall a little hoping she would right herself. Instead she got such a rush and would continually do it over and over. To this day , she will still lean over the bar of her crib waiting to flip forward and fall out onto the bed next to it. I have one of those nettings on the crib so she can't do it without supervision. She loves the swing....and the higher and more spinning the better.
