Hi Denise,

I am so sorry your precious son has been given this diagnosis.  I have a son
who is 4 with t-18 and I know how scary this time is for you.  CDH is a
severe problem for kids without any other health issues.  Does your son have
any other issues that they see such as heart defects? How far along are you
and where do you live?  May I send you out a gift in honor of your sweet
son?  Does he have a name?  One thing to remember is that no matter how long
your precious son lives on earth he will be your child for all eternity.
Another thing to remember is that there is always hope.  That hope may
change as time goes on from hoping to have your son with you for a long time
to meeting him alive and embracing his life for however long that is. The
most important thing to remember and hang on to is that God is always
faithful and you are not alone. I have some moms who have had similar
diagnoses, would you like to be put in touch with them?  Please call or

My unborn son has been diagnosed with trisomy 18 and a congenital
diaphragmatic hernia and I have been told nothing can be done, he will not
be incubated to keep him alive and there is no hope. I can find no details
of similar cases and wondered if anyone could give me any information.
