Did you qualify for Medicaid without the state checking your income first?
Probably, not. I'm saying that all children with feeding issues should
qualify for WIC, even if they are not receiving Medicaid or SSI. Most states
have automatic funding to send PT/OT (in Utah it is called DDI) people out to
your home, without receiving or qualifying for state aid. The dx of T18
makes that qualification. So, why shouldn't that be the case for WIC? These
are just my personal thoughts, and I'm willing to try and encourage this must
needed change in my state.
