But, I was not about to give up on the mouth feeding. We very very slowly worked on mouth feeding and by as early as 3-4 months, she was eating completely by mouth! Of course, the tube didnt' come out til last summer. That's probably what Mikki is trying to do with brendan is atleast try mouth feeding so that one day the tube can come out. It seems like alot of the trisomy kids have had tubes, but eventually learned to eat and the tube came out.
