when Rebecca broke her femur, it was about 8-10 weeks, and really she
did not loose any skills ( now I know she was only 5 ) and there was not
even any foreshortening of the affected leg!  When she broke her tibula
it was only the 6 weeks in a cast and there again no lose of
functioning. Even though she had a nasty pressure sore on her heel it
was black and I was so worried as she has poor circulation but it healed
well. Even though Rebecca has osteopenia she healed well.  Do you give
Becky vitamins and supplements?  As much as I am very medical model I do
find they help Rebecca
