Try using a medication syringe and aim it to the back of the inside of his
cheek. Then hold his nose, but squeeze his cheeks enough to not be able to shut
his mouth. (not hard, just enough so he can't get his tongue into the spit
position). The liquid goes back in the throat and the only thing left to do to
get a breath is swallow. I have never had a kid not take meds, not my own or
any of the foster kids (around a hundred or so). Dom cannot take anything with
a
cherry flavor or he throws it back up. So he learned to take pills when he
was very young, 4 or 5.
