I'm a senior nursing student at Indiana Wesleyan U.; I'm also taking a  
required home care and hospice class right now.  When I read your account  of 
what 
the home care nurse said, it made me very angry and embarrased to have  some 
like that in our profession.  Thanks for the reminder to weigh  carefully 
everything I say to patients.
 
(ps. to the board: I'd appreciate thoughts and prayers on Thursday [nov2]  as 
I'm interviewing for a job in the PICU at an awesome hospital)
