Philina also has microcephaly.  Please remember though that on a 'typical'
baby their head is the largest part of them.  But chromosomally abnormal
babies tend to have heads that are more in porportion to the rest of their
bodies.  And this is not necessarily a bad thing, as a smaller head is
easier to control and hold up for a child with poor muscle control.  Where
it could become a problem though, is if the natural skull sutures close up
prematurely and the brain thus hasn't got enough growing room.  They thought
at one point that Philina's had done that, so took an x-ray to make sure
that she wasn't going to need surgery to reopen them.  But she didn't, as
they had closed, but not sealed.
