That's funny, I was thinking how tall she is too! Krissy is about
42 inches tall and 42 pounds. I say that makes her a square!
Bedwise... we got her a single size regular captains bed with
drawer in the frame. Then I made what I call a "bednet" that
keeps her from falling out. It goes under the mattress and up the
sides about 18 inches so she can't roll out. It worked great
until she got poop on it and I had to wash it. It shrank a bit
oddly so that while it still works it needs to be remade. Next
time I'll shrink the material first!!! Its kind of cool though.
She can see out, we can see in but she's safe.
All the best,
Terre

Subject: [tri-med] medicaid denial of a sleep safe bed
aaa is kind of giving me the run around on not knowing how to
resubmit to be successful on how to get this bed for my daughter.
it seems it doesnt have a code as it is not enlcosed it is just
safer for my 63 lbs 5'2" tall almost 11 yr old daughter so she
wont fall out of her bunk bed (set on the floor) with small
rails. www.sleepsafebed.com
she cant sit up yet but she rolls and spins around like crazy at
nite. i never expected her to be able to roll over eaither so i
am just trying to anticiapate a bit. she defintely doesnt need a
bed with a net on the top but that is the kind medicaid has a
code for.
has anyone been successful with this? can you let me know how?
thanks jude, mom to derek-21, kelsey-19 and kameron-10-full
