We got this bed for Morgan last fall. If I remember correctly, though,
insurance turned it down and we were able to get it thru the waiver Morgan is
on. We used waiver $ not medicaid. I didn't do anything other than ask the
p.t. and ped. to write letters stating why we wanted the bed. I don't think
size played into it, Morgan is a bit bigger than Kam, other than we said it was
easier transferring from chair to bed and bed to chair than the bed we had
before.
