The swelling in Brianna'a face/hands seems to be related to heat....she's my
non-sweater. As far as the bone pain goes, she's very susceptible to
osteoporosis.
-regarding "telling" our kids, the other day in the car, my son was talking
about how many years until he drives a car(he's 9, so he has a ways) and he
asked me "will Brianna ever be able to drive?". Brianna was in the front
seat, so I asked her, "do you want to drive, Brianna?". She shrugged her
shoulders and muttered a "dont know".
I finished the conversation with, "no, Bri will not be able to drive because
of her trisomy". I feel so inadequate with the questions that are being
thrown my way lately.
