Hi Monica,
I'm Chris Hassan, mom to Joanna (full T-18), now 33 years old. Jo was
born with 2 intraventricular septal defects, one of which closed on its own,
the other of which left only a murmur. She has never needed cardiac surgery.
The cardiologist she saw at 25, said he was available if any problems
developed- otherwise he'd see her in another 25 years! - My kind of doctor!
I live on Long Island, not too far from Westchester, and know another
T-18 family right in Westchester itself, tho not sure if their daughter has
