Rebecca also has VERY thin bones :0( she has also had to fractures :0( ,
on xray her fibula ( small leg bone) is as skinny as the bones in My fingers
which were holding her leg (( ............. This is what the paediatric
orthopedic surgeon told me. " the calcium regimes that they put older people
with osteo porios on are not for kids untill they have stopped growing" she
just suggests a calcium supplement. our chiropractor tells me that calcium
citrate is the most absorbable form, blends with magnesium are also easier
to absorb. osteopenia is a common problem for kids like ours, esp. those
that don't weight bear as weight bearing exercises are good for bone density
so using a walker or stander is good exercise :0)
Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen every day.
