Sarah had surgery yesterday (18.12.2002 at 15:00-16:30) to correct the
malrotated bowel.
The operation was successful and she is now recovering. It will take a number
of days before she can start taking food via PEG tube.

Her surgeon said that indeed the intestines were twisted and during surgery
procedure the intestine were straightened and appendix removed.

We hope that Sarah will continue showing good progress and will have comfort
(no pain, feeding without problems etc. ) after she recovers.
