Audrey finally started to gain weight at the end. She was taken off of the
nutramigen plus iron and put on NeoCate (plus DuoCal), not neosure. It is
very elemental and extremely easy to digest. Even in the hospital for three
weeks where they stopped her feedings at least every other day, she gained
5.5 ounces. She finally passed her birthweight about a week before she went
home to heaven. It is extremely expensive (about $50 per can), but our
insurance covered it 100%. You might ask for a prescription and try that.
