And, I personally, feel like specific trisomy awareness is not as important as 
disability awareness.  There are disorders that are even more rare than some of 
our trisomies, those parents have little or no support.  And look at how 
similar some of the things "our" kiddos experience are even though they are 
different trisomies.  They all have disabilities not matter what the diagnosis 
is.

I am also becoming more aware of adults with disabilities as Morgan gets 
bigger.  I see all kinds of telethons and fundraisers for local children's 
charities, but what about the adults?  Are they forgotten when they are no 
longer cute, little kids?!  That should not happen!  I do not intend to raise 
my child, bring awareness of children's disabilities, and then just let him be 
forgotten!
