We came home yesterday, Easter Sunday, at about 1:30pm. Very tired, but re=
lieved to finally be home again.
Today is the first day of the rest of our lives, living with diabetes. Thi=
s is something I certainly never, ever dreamed would happen to Morgan. I w=
ish it hadn't. But we can't go back, if we stay where we are nothing is ac=
complished, so we move forward, remembering that the world is full of peopl=
e who successfully manage type I diabetes everyday. Some days I feel I can=
conquer the world, other days the world definitely flattens me. I am havi=
ng one of those conquering the world kind of days. It's only 8am, though, =
that could change rapidly ; )
