[tri-med] Re: hesitancy to treat

This is so sad. So many doctors don't want to deal with what they
can't fix. What they don't understand is that our kids don't need
to be fixed - they are perfect the way they are. What our kids
need is love, respect and to be treated with dignity.

We've been fortunate - aside from the apnea which prompted the
trach - we haven't had anything life threatening. Even with the
apnea - they did not have to recommend the trach - I never would
have come up with it on my own. They wanted us to make sure it
was what we felt was right but they never hesitated doing it
based on her T18.
