[tri-med] Re: granulation tissue

In the 2 1/2 yrs. that Morgan had his bard we probably had to change it 4 
times.  He outgrew it a couple of times and then once the stopper broke off and 
another time it just needed to be changed.  Morgan's dr., at that time, said it 
wasn't unusual to need to change them yearly.  It's just that I hated the 
changing, it is soooooo awful!  That, and the fact that all Morgan's bards have 
leaked (from the tube, not the stoma) are reasons why I have been hesitating 
asking to change.  But the mickey seems to not be working so well for him.

  Wow! Hannah has a bard and got her first one in January of '04, when she =
