[tri-med] Re: get informed

We don't have regular insurance by choice. We were paying more for premiums
than we would've paid out of pocket. When we did the math, it made sense for
us. We do have a catastrophic policy in case we have an accident or become very
ill. We do have to budget for doctor visits, & our prescriptions are full
price, but we do get a cash discount, & our dr gives us samples of medications
as often as he can.
My uncle owns a wholesale floral/plant business in CA, & he gives his employees
the choice of insurance or the money, and a large percentage of them take the
money.

We are led to believe that more people really need insurance than is true. The
system is broken, but I don't think the plan being offered will fix it.

Gary,

I don't know if you are aware that half of those w/o health care are young
people who opt to NOT get health care and the rest are not legally in our
country. So is that a good reason to FORCE everyone to pay for substandard
rationed care?

The gov't is counting on the masses to "drink the cool aide" that is to not
question them at all. Don't be fooled by "statistics" they are USED by the
govt (no matter which party controls) to bolster false "emergencies." The
truth on the numbers is easily accessible. Really.
