[tri-med] Re: frazzled ramblings

Hi Janet...
I'm sorry Hannah's having to go throught this...and you too :o( I'm no
exoert by any means...but I do know that anyone can develop an allergy or
intolerance to just about anything...food, anitbiotics, latex...you name it.
I have been prescribed Sulfa drugs all my life for UTI's, Kidney
infections...whichever??? Anyway...my point is that I've taken them with no
problem until about 2 or 3 years ago...and all of a sudden I broke out in
big blotchy hives and just about scratched my own hide off. It took me a few
days to figure out what the problem was because the antibiotic had never
given me any grief before.
Allergies can be "outgrown" too....so I think anything is possible???
I was just thinking that there's a 7 year old autistic boy in Devon's summer
program named Collin. Collin can't have anything with milk or whey in it
because not only does it affect his behavior but it gives him diarreah or
makes him vomit and sometimes both :o( Just one example....
