And so did Miss P, except that for her the patching worked and we were
able to avoid that surgery. Both of her eyes crossed and wandered so
we alternated daily which eye we patched. But since she has worn glasses
since she was 5 months old it was fairly easy to patch them with some
opaque window film. Hardest part was getting the kiddo to leave the glasses
on. And since my threats of super glue were only idle ones, it was a real
battle of wills. But bottom line is that fixed air (kiddo) doesn't really
stand a chance against fixed earth (mom) in a battle that really matters.
